If you’re over 18 and can complete our investor authorisation process, you are welcome to invest on Republic Europe. To complete the investor authorisation process you’ll need to self-certify as either a high net worth investor, a sophisticated investor, or an everyday (restricted) investor, and demonstrate that you understand the risks of investing in businesses – which may involve taking a short Investment Authorisation Questionnaire. If you reside outside of the UK or Europe, you will be asked to self-certify as an accredited investor in your local jurisdiction. Prior to taking the quiz or self-certifying, you should read through our Risk Warnings. This process is intended to show us that you have the judgment and understanding to appreciate the risks involved in investing in private companies.

If you’re told that we're not currently able to accept investors from your local jurisdiction but have a strong pre-existing connection to a specific business campaign on Republic Europe, you may be eligible to invest in that campaign – get in touch with the lead entrepreneur and ask them to get in touch with us directly. And even if you are not eligible to invest right now, you are more than welcome to sign up as a Republic Europe member to keep up to date with our news.

Before you complete your first investment on Republic Europe, we’ll also need to verify your identity. In many cases, we’re able to run our checks automatically during the sign up process but, if not, you may be prompted to provide proof of your identity,  address, and other forms of identification.
