After you invest in any of the available campaigns in our Investment Opportunities page, your investment appears in your Seedrs ‘Investment Account’. Shortly after the campaign hits its funding target and closes for further investment, our team starts working with the founders to close the round. During this process, your investment remains visible in your Seedrs Investment Account.

After all the necessary due diligence steps are completed and we transfer the funds to the fundraising business, your investment is considered closed and will move from your Investment Account to your Seedrs ‘Portfolio’.

What is the Seedrs Portfolio?

The Seedrs Portfolio is the portal where you can find all your completed investments (including shares you bought in the Secondary Market), keep up to date with company updates and discussions, track investment performance and download your investment documents such as share certificates.

Here's how the Seedrs Portfolio looks like:

  1. Current Portfolio Value - Shows the fair value of your investments (taking into account any shares bought or sold on the Seedrs Secondary Market) calculated using the methodology set out in our Valuation and IRR page. This section also displays total number of business you have invested in.

  2. IRR & Tax Adjusted IRR - The Internal Rate of Return shows the annualised performance of your investments net of any fees (taking into account the impact of any shares bought or sold on the Seedrs Secondary Market as well as any other distributions received). If you would like to learn more about how we calculate IRR please read our Valuation and IRR page. The Tax Adjusted IRR is the IRR, but adjusted to take account of S/EIS tax reliefs.

  3. GBP/EUR Currency Switch - Your investments and portfolio value include investments you have made in currencies other than the currency you have selected. Currencies are converted using European Central Bank official reference rates, so the numbers may increase or decrease depending on currency fluctuations.

  4. Portfolio Performance - A graphical representation of your Portfolio performance - this view is based on change in share price for all of your investments.

  5. Investment List - This is where you can find all your investments, listed by business name. Pressing the name expands the view to display more details about your investment and certain options such as access the post-investment page updates and discussions, and downloading documents such as your share certificates. See 'Your Investment Summary' below for a more detailed breakdown of how it works.

Further to the right side, 'Current Share Price' shows the current share price of a single share of equity in a company as it is recorded on Seedrs, whereas 'Current Value' shows the current value of each asset you hold in the company calculated in line with our portfolio value and IRR methodology.

  6. Filters - Use these options to easily filter investments by business state, sector and type.

  7. Sell - To submit a sale order in the Secondary Market. Please read our Secondary Market FAQs to learn how it works!

  8. Downloads - Allows you to download copies of your Portfolio Data

Your Investment Summary

When you press the name of a business in your Investment List, it reveals more details about your investment. Here's how it looks:

1. Business Links - Right under the business name, you will find three useful links that take you to the respective sections of the post-investment page. Use these to participate in the discussion forums, catch up on any updates or check the current or upcoming Secondary Market share sales.

2. Summary/Transactions/Documents - Here you can find a summary with further details of your investment, Secondary Market eligibility, your transaction history with this business and all relevant documentation such as share certificates and investment agreements.
